Look at a Book is a family business that opened in 2006.

Like many family businesses Look at a Book was born in a 2 car garage and a spare  bedroom. While our name & logo design was conceived by Grandfather Bill Houghton in the 1950’s our businesses model of book recycling was conceived out of desire to bring quality used books to families in the wake of the online book revolution started by Amazon.com.

Along the way we found that it was possible to make a modest profit, do something positive for the environment and do some good at home in our communities. We hope you will become a Look at a Book customer. We can be reached during regular business hours Monday through Friday at 937-885-1027
